PRINCESS Cruises has revealed that its biggest-ever cruise ship is due to visit Southampton.

The 4,300-guest Sun Princess will sail on a "Grand Mediterranean" inaugural voyage on February 8, 2024, followed by more Mediterranean journeys through to September.

Sun Princess will also be in Southampton on September 22 and 23.

A Princess Cruises spokesperson said: "The full European season includes ten-night itineraries visiting popular stops throughout the Western and Eastern Mediterranean and a series of seven-night voyages departing from either Barcelona, Rome (Civitavecchia) or Athens."
