FOUR people have been arrested after a motorbike and parts of a play park were set alight in a suspected arson attack.

Police and firefighters were called to Sullivan Road Park in Sholing in the early hours of Tuesday.

Police say petrol had been used to start the fire and fence panels had also been ripped off.

Three 15-year-old boys and a 20-year-old man, all from Southampton, were arrested on suspicion of arson. One of the boys was also detained on suspicion of possessing a lock knife.

The 20-year-old was found with a small amount of cannabis, which was seized, and was ordered to attend a cannabis awareness course.
