A MAN has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted in a Southampton park.
The 19-year-old said the alleged attack took place in Hoglands Park at around 1.30am on Saturday, March 11.
Yesterday, police launched a CCTV appeal to find a man they would like to speak to.
This morning they revealed a man was arrested and now police have charged a 23-year-old.
Arifullah Khan, 23, of Lumpy Lane, Southampton has been formally charged with sexual assault.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at court later today.
