A MAN has been arrested after a woman was assaulted in a Southampton park.
The 19-year-old reported she was sexually assaulted in Hoglands Park at around 1.30am on Saturday, March 11.
Police say the victim was walking through the city centre park when she was approached by a man she did not know.
The man began speaking with her before grabbing her and sexually assaulting her over her clothing.

Yesterday, police released CCTV images of a man they wanted to speak to as part of their investigation.
A 23-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
He remains in custody at this time.
On Sunday, police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault. He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
