SUPPORTERS of the international anti-Covid-vaccine movement have staged a protest on a Hampshire dual carriageway.
Five people gathered on a footbridge over the A31 near Ringwood.
One of them held up a placard that said: "Healthy children don't need a Covid-19 vaccine."
They also unfurled a large yellow banner emblazoned with the words: "Died suddenly - why?"
A banner attached to the other side of the bridge said: "Climate lockdown? No way!"
Motorists reported tailbacks caused by drivers slowing down to watch the demonstrators, but a Hampshire police spokesman said the incident appeared not to have been reported.
It is not known who staged the protests or why they chose that particular location.
This week it emerged a psychologist died after receiving his Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab.
An inquest heard that London-based NHS employee Stephen Wright died in January 2021, ten days after his first dose of the vaccine.
Dr Wright, 32, suffered a blood clot to the brain.
The inquest heard that his death was due to "unintended complications of the vaccine".
Senior coroner Andrew Harris described it as a "very unusual and deeply tragic case".
