UPDATE: Welch, 27, has now been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
A Southampton man is wanted by police in connection with a fight outside a pub in May last year.
A man in his 20s was stabbed in the leg after being attacked by three men outside the Millers Pond Pub in Middle Road, Sholing.
Several people were involved in the fight at 10.15pm on May 29 last year.
Rees Thomas Welch, 30, of Staplehurst Close in Southampton, was charged with assault by beating and appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court on October 4, where he pleaded guilty.
He was ordered to pay a £166 fine and £50 compensation.

A 20-year-old Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent but has been released under investigation.
Now, officers are looking to speak to Cameron Welch, 26, in connection with the investigation.
He is described as white, about 5ft 9in tall and with light brown hair.
He is believed to still be in the Southampton area.
