POLICE are appealing for information after a 14-year-old boy was robbed by a fellow cyclist following a collison.

Officers were alerted after receiving reports that two men had stolen a bicycle from a teen on the Delme Roundabout cycle and footpath at Fareham.

The boy was cycling from the Cams Hill direction towards East Street when his bike chain came off, forcing him to stop.

This resulted in a male cyclist colliding with the victim.

A police spokesperson said: "The man, who was with another male, then got off his bike, grabbed the victim by the arms, and stole his bicycle - an orange and blue Rockrider ST540 mountain bike. He wasn't seriously injured.

"Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, the moments leading up to it, or the aftermath.

"We are particularly keen to hear from a blonde girl wearing a Cams Hill school uniform, who we believe witnessed this incident and may have information to assist our enquiries."

It happened on Thursday, June 15 at around 10am.

The man involved in the incident is described as white, aged in his 20s, 6ft, skinny, with dark hair.

The second man is described as white, aged in his 20s, 5ft 10in, skinny, with dark hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt, a grey baseball cap, and blacked-out sunglasses.
