The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

DANIEL DYKE, 33, of Southampton Street, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was given a one-year community order and must pay £50 compensation. He was excluded from entering Tesco Express in Ocean Village for 12 months.

SOPHIE WREN, 36, of Tatwin Crescent, Southampton admitted a charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis when she was suspected of having driven. An interim disqualification order was made. Wren was bailed to appear at the same court on November 14 for sentencing. 

MORGAN BROCKWAY, 25, St Teilos Road, Pembroke pleaded guilty to drink driving on Beaulieu Road, Hythe. They were caught with 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of their breath whilst behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Corsa. Brockway was given an interim disqualification and will next appear at the same court on November 13 for sentencing.

ELISSA CURTIS, 18, of Howard Road, Southampton admitted a charge of assault by beating as well as causing criminal damage to a plant pot. She was bailed to appear at the same court on October 24 for sentencing. 

ROGER HARRIS, 73, of Rudd Lane, Romsey pleaded guilty to drink driving on Church Road, Romsey. He was found to have 81 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath whilst driving a Toyota. Harris was banned from driving for 22 months and fined £120. He must also pay court costs of £85 and a £48 surcharge.

JOSH RIDOUT, 22, of Croydon Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class A (cocaine) and possessing of a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis). He was fined a total of £200 and ordered to pay an £80 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
