The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

TONY HARDING, 41, of Calder Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to careless driving on the A34 at Whitchurch on March 27 2023. Fined £450 with £85 costs and £120 victim services surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with six penalty points.

KIM WATTS, 56, of Lydgate Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance at Bitterne Road West, Southampton, on October 28 2022. Fined £120 with £110 costs and £48 victim services surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with six penalty points. Also pleaded guilty to speeding. No separate penalty.

ALISTAIR AIKMAN, 30, of Bransley Close, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to drug driving at Twyford Road, Eastleigh, on June 6 2023. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £600 with £85 costs and £240 victim services surcharge.

ASHLEY FORBES, 34, of Owen Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis at Chestnut Avenue, Eastleigh, on July 31 2023. Banned from driving for 20 months, fined £320 with £85 costs and £208 victim services surcharge. Also pleaded guilty to careless driving. Fined £100. Also pleaded guilty to failing to stop for police. Fined £100. 

JONATHAN HINES, 43, of Tower Street, Winchester. Pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless driving on A35 at Holmsley on June 14 2023. Remanded on unconditional bail to appear at the same court on November 30 2023.

DAVID CULLEN, 33, of Dinham Road, Ashley, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to stealing Lego valued at £140 from Tesco store at Caird Avenue, New Milton. Remanded on conditional bail to appear at the same court on November 30 2023.

JIMMY JAMES, 43, of Heather Road, Blackfield. Pleaded guilty to assaulting emergency worker at Heather Road on September 14 2023. Fined £100 with £85 costs and £40 victim services surcharge. Told to pay victim £100 compensation.
