The heartbroken mother of an alleged murder victim has paid tribute to her "perfect son".

Tammy Kent has been inundated with messages of support and sympathy since 22-year-old Levi Webb died following an incident at Keyes Road, Gosport, last Friday.

Three people have been charged in connection with Levi's death.

Posting online Ms Kent said: "I want to thank everyone for the kind messages of support since my boy was taken away from me in the worst way imaginable.

"Our family has been ripped to pieces once more.

"Your kind words of strength and compassion have been immeasurable to me, 'we are here for you' 'we love you' 'we got you' - all words I needed to hear. I need the strength and the positivity they give me.

"The flowers, the snack, and the beers. The best and biggest hugs. I thank you all.

"The messages of love for my boy Levi are overwhelming."

Ms Kent shared some of the messages she has received since her son died.

"Levi stayed with me and made sure I was safe in Emma's when a guy put his hands on me."

"I was cold and alone at the taxi rank and he took me home in his taxi'

"He looked after me when I first arrived in a new school and I had no-one."

"He helped me and my mum when we needed it."

"When I arrived in Gosport he was there for me."

Ms Kent said her "beautiful boy" was so "so loved". She added: "His kind heart outweighed his naughty heart. He loved his Mumma with all he had...and I loved him more.

"My son, my friend, my Levi."

In a later post, she added: "Sweet dreams my perfect son. Levi, my heart will remain incomplete for eternity."

One person who posted a comment said: "He was a lovely boy and you should be proud of the way you raised him."

Another social media user added: "He literally was loved by everyone Tammy. He was the funniest, sweetest boy. My heart actually hurts so much for you, sending you all the love in the world."
