One of Southampton's top nightclubs is staying open - despite the owners' decision to call in administrators.
Following a review of its business, nightclub operator Rekom UK has confirmed that Switch Southampton will continue to welcome clubbers in a move that will safeguard 29 jobs.
The late-night venue on Above Bar Street attracts hundreds of people every month.

Rekom's managing director, Russell Quelch, said: "We are thrilled that Switch will be part of our business moving forward and we look forward to the venue continuing to play a key role in Southampton’s late-night economy.
“The restructure puts the national business on a stronger footing and allows the UK team to focus on key growth opportunities.
"Switch Southampton will form part of this strategy as we look to develop our businesses in key locations and expand our cluster offering."
Last month GO! Southampton said it had received an assurance that Switch was staying open.
