Police are appealing for information after a convenience store and several vehicles were damaged in a spate of incidents in the New Forest

Two doors and two large windows were smashed at the Morrisons Daily convenience store in Hightown Road, Ringwood, overnight on Saturday, February 3 and Sunday, February 4.

On the same night two cars parked on Whitehart Fields had their windows smashed.

Another incident took place in Parsonage Barn Lane, where a windscreen was smashed. A convex safety mirror in the same road was also damaged.

Police have issued a description of someone they want to speak to in connection with the incidents.

They are described as white, aged about 17, 5ft 11in-6ft, and slim. They were wearing a jacket with a high-visibility horizontal line across the chest, and a hooded top with a white stripe.

Inspector Darren Ord said: "We believe these incidents to be linked and are doing everything we can to find those responsible.

“Officers will continue to provide high-visibility patrols in the area, so please speak with them if you have anything you want to discuss, or any concerns or issues you wish to raise.

“Additionally, if you also experienced any damage to your property last weekend, and haven’t yet reported this to us, please do so at the earliest opportunity."
