A new care home opening in Southampton in April is set to create more than 30 jobs.

Oyster Care Homes is opening Rownhams Manor in Southampton on April 17.

The new care home will create more than 30 jobs initially, and as the home grows the team this is expected to rise to 60.

Rownhams Manor Care Home will offer a range of care services, including residential care, dementia care, and respite care.

The home has been designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents, with state-of-the-art facilities and a team of dedicated and experienced care staff.

CEO of Oyster Care Homes, Tim Buckley, said: “We are delighted to be opening Rownhams Manor Care home in Southampton.

The home has also been built with sustainability in mind, with geothermal heat pumps, battery technology and solar panels.

The job opportunities available at Rownhams Manor are a mixture of full and part time - including roles for care assistants, catering staff, maintenance, and housekeeping staff.
