A traffic warning has been issued for Southampton ahead of the Saints game.

Drivers in the city have been urged to plan their journeys amid a busy weekend.

Southampton FC will be playing Watford today with the kick off at 3pm which is likely to cause delays

Routes near St Mary's Stadium will be busy with some closures in place during the match.

Due to ongoing ring road works in the city centre, the roads will become busier before and after the match with supporters making their to and from the stadium.

Iona has also docked in the city this morning, with hundreds of cruise passengers expected in the city.

As well as that, the Vaisakhi takes place on Sunday from 1pm with the procession starting at St Mary’s, travelling up The Avenue and Lodge Road, then down Bevois Valley, stopping at different Gurdwaras.

Two cruise ships will dock in the city tomorrow.
