The following speeders have been sentenced at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

BEN HOAR, 45, of Ashlett Lawn, Havant was found guilty of exceeding a variable speed limit on the M27 westbound between junctions five and four. He was driving a Renault near Eastleigh when he was clocked at 50mph. A 40mph variable speed limit was in place at the time. Hoar was banned from driving for six months and received three points on his licence. He was also fined £40 and must pay £50 court costs plus a £16 surcharge. 

MEHRAN FADAEI, 30, of Bitterne Road West, Southampton admitted to speeding on the B3397 Hamble Lane in Hamble-le-Rice. He was clocked at 36mph in a 30mph zone whilst behind the wheel of a Toyota Yaris. Fadaei was fined £60 and received three points on his licence. He was ordered to pay £50 court costs and a £24 surcharge.

NICK DEMETRIOUS, 55, of Woodside, Gosport pleaded guilty to exceeding a variable speed limit on the M27 westbound between junctions eight and seven. He was driving a Vauxhall near Hedge End when he was clocked at 69mph. A 60mph variable speed limit was in place at the time. Demetrious was fined £72 and received three points on his licence. He must also pay £110 court costs and a £28 surcharge. 

ADAM KECSKEMETI, 23, of Halliday Crescent, Southsea admitted speeding on the M27 westbound between junctions eight and seven. He was clocked at 87mph in a Mazda near Hedge End. The national 70mph limit was in place at the time. Kecskemeti was fined £72 and received three points on his licence. He must also pay £50 court costs and a £28 surcharge. 

BARTLOMIEJ LIPINSKI, 39, of Ravenswood, Fareham pleaded guilty to exceeding a variable speed limit on the M27 westbound between junctions eight and seven. He was driving a Mercedes near Hedge End when he was caught at 64mph. A 50mph speed limit was in place at the time. He was fined £196 and received three points on his licence. Lipinski must also pay £110 court costs and a £78 surcharge.
