CCTV images have been released after 21 bottles of champagne were stolen from a Marks and Spencer store. 

The haul, worth £717, was stolen from the shop on St Thomas Street, Lymington on Tuesday, April 30. 

The incident took place between 12.10pm and 12.20pm. 

Police now believe the two people photographed, a man and a woman, can help with their enquiries. 

The man is described as white, aged approximately 45, 5ft 10ins tall, with short black hair and a side parting and stubble.

He was wearing a grey t-shirt, a black jacket with white stripes, blue jeans and trainers. 

The woman is described as white, approximately 35 years old, 5ft 10ins tall with long red hair. 

She was wearing glasses with dark rims, a black vest top and a long beige skirt with a dark pattern. 

A police spokesperson said: "We believe the man and woman in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

"Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
