The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates Court:

SCOTT HAMILTON, 32, of Welch Road, Manchester, admitted drink driving at Southampton Road, Fareham, on November 16 2025. The defendant had 110 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. Banned from driving for 28 months and fined £4,320 with £400 costs.

RYAN HUSSEY, 54, of Water Lane, Totton, admitted drug driving at Deacon Road, Southampton, on February 11 2026. The proportion of benzoylecgonine in his blood exceeded the specified limit. Banned from driving for 12 months and fined £323 with £85 costs and £129 victim services surcharge.

ALEXANDER FORD-ELLIS, 32, of Middle Park Way, Havant, admitted attempting to steal two plastic storage crates valued at £600-£800 from Excess Garden Centre at Ringwood on April 24 2025. One-year community order, including requirement to attend ten days of rehabilitation activity and carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £85 costs.

WAYNE NDEGEYO, 22, of Barton Court Avenue, Barton on Sea, pleaded guilty to possessing a kitchen knife in a public place at Christchurch Road, New Milton, on January 11 2026. Bailed until July 29 2026.

DARREN BROWN, 54, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton, admitted possessing an offensive weapon - a hammer - at Portswood Road, Southampton, on March 20 2025. Also pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour in Southampton on July 16 2025. Bailed until July 16 2026.

GARY GRANT, 50, of no fixed address, admitted breaching the sex offenders register in Southampton on May 23 2026 by failing to complete "no fixed address" notification. Sentencing deferred until July 28 2026.

LEE SPARSHOTT, 46, of Lydgate Road, Southampton, admitted possessing controlled Class B drug (cannabis) in Southampton on February 14 2026. Fined £80 with £85 costs and £32 victim services surcharge.

JACK CROWTHER, 31, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton, admitted two counts of making indecent photographs of a child in Southampton on November 27 2024. One-year community order, including requirement to attend 20 days of rehabilitation activity and carry out 60 hours of unpaid work.

DAVID BROWN, 72, of Oakmount Road, Chandler's Ford, admitted driving while disqualified at Oakmount Road on March 23 2026. Bailed until September 4 2026.
