A NEW cricket league has been set-up by the Hampshire Cricket Board for people with physical or learning difficulties.
Ten clubs have entered the league, which will be played in two divisions, with the divisional winners meeting in a final at the Rose Bowl on July 6.
Clubs taking part are Aldershot, Lindford, Portsmouth, Havant, Gosport, Hythe & Dibden, Trojans, St Cross, Andover and Old Basing.
Support for the league has been provided by the Danny's Choice fund set up in memory of Danny Bond who died last year after a long fight against bowel disease.
The league will be known as the Danny Bond league and matches and practices will take place at the clubs on Friday afternoons.
