UP next in the Premier League for Saints is a test against David Moyes’ bang-in form West Ham, at St Mary’s on Saturday 11 September.

The last time Saints beat West Ham was in August 2017, after Charlie Austin’s last-minute penalty earned all three points in a closely-run 3-2 affair at St Mary’s.

Saints had taken a 2-0 lead but ten-man Hammers were able to pull it back and all-but rescue a point, but for the injury time intervention – even the only win in eight wasn’t plain sailing.
