PUPILS from a Hampshire school took some time out of the classroom to bring a smile to the faces of youngsters stuck on a hospital ward.

The students from Cantell School, Southampton, paid a special visit to the children’s wards of Southampton General Hospital to hand over some gifts which were donated by their fellow classmates.

Patients Max Tucker and Reggie Miller were thrilled by the surprise presents, which will help keep them entertained during their stay in hospital.
