Southampton autism help centre in line for top award
A Southampton service dedicated to making life better for those living with autism has been nominated for a top national award.
The Autism Diagnostic Research Centre (ADRC) has been shortlisted in the Clinical Excellence category of The National Autistic Society’s Autism Professionals Awards 2014.
The awards recognise and reward services and professionals that lead the way in innovative autism practice and make a real difference to the lives of people with the condition in the UK. The centre provides autism training to employers and professionals, helping them to better understand the condition and to offer appropriate and effective support.
The winner will be revealed on March 4.
