IT’S a beautiful sight for locals and passengers alike.
Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Elizabeth, sailed through the mists for her maiden call to Halong Bay in Vietnam.
The 2,000-passenger ship left Southampton in January and had already sailed through the Panama Canal to San Francisco, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and China.
It now goes on to Singapore, Sri Lanka, India and Dubai before arriving back in Southampton on May 9 after 118 nights and visits to 40 ports in 23 different countries.
The ship was named by The Queen in 2010.
