A motorist was injured in a crash involving two lorries and a car on a busy Hampshire road.

All three emergency services were called to the A338 Ringwood to Fordingbridge road after the accident happened just before 9am today.

A man driving a VW Golf suffered a neck injury and had to be cut free by firefighters.

The two lorry drivers are thought to have escaped unhurt in the collision, which occurred at the junction of the A338 and Lawrence Lane, North Gorley.

A police spokesman said one lane was closed but the road was now fully open.
