POLICE have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to after an assault which left a Hampshire man with three broken ribs.
A 60-year-old man was punched in the face and ribs by two different men after he answered the front door of his home in Outer Circle, Southampton.
When he opened the door a man stepped inside the hallway and hit him in the face. When the victim tried to close the door another man punched him in the ribs, while a woman spurred them on. The victim shouted for help and the trio fled the scene.
Anyone with any information about the incident, which happened between 1am and 2am on July 12, should contact PC Ricketts at Southampton police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
