THE New Forest was awash with yellow as a special charity event made its colourful annual appearance.
Scores of people put on their walking shoes for Walk Ten to raise funds to support the Marie Curie cancer charity.
Beaulieu Estate in the heart of the New Forest was the venue for the event, with each walker aiming to raise £60 which would pay for three hours of care.
After they had completed the 10K route at the weekend the crowds – wearing specially-made yellow Walk Ten T-shirts – settled down to an evening of entertainment which featured live music and a spectacular fireworks display.
