HAMPSHIRE highways bosses are waging a war on rubbish dumpers.

Test Valley Borough Council is the latest council to join forces with the Highways Agency as they tackle litter droppers on Hampshire’s busiest roads.

They will be handing out car litter bags as part of the ongoing “Love Where You Live” campaign to encourage road users to take their rubbish home and dispose of it properly. The campaign aims to encourage people to join their team of community litter pickers, arrange community clean-ups or report dirty streets, littering, fly posting or tipping or graffiti.

The car litter bags can be picked up from petrol and service stations across Test Valley. They are also being distributed to businesses and organisations across the borough.

For more information or to request car litter bags for your organisation, visit testvalley.gov.uk/love.
