NATIONAL Park chiefs have approved plans to enlarge a house in the New Forest.
Members of the National Park Authority (NPA) supported an application to build a single-storey extension to Thornacre in North Weirs, Brockenhurst.
David Harrison complained that the extension’s glass roof would result in light pollution.
“The open forest will be spoiled by illumination where it doesn’t need to be,” he said.
But fellow NPA member Maureen Holding said the glazed roof would emit only a tiny glimmer of light.
