FIREFIGHTERS rescued a horse which had trapped its leg in a chain in Hamble.
The animal had been tethered to a tree in Satchell Lane, Hamble.
But the cob stallion became distressed after it became tangled and trapped its leg.
Police and firefighters were called shortly after 10am, and the fire service’s animal rescue unit freed the horse after a vet sedated it.
