Swaythling Post office will be open more hours
A Southampton post office is set for major refurbishment.
The Swaythling branch will close on June 23 and reopen with extended hours on July 3.
It will have new opening hours of 8am to 9pm from Monday to Saturday, meaning it will be open for 31 more hours a week.
Its new open-plan design will see it have one counter and one Post Office serving point, while residents will also be able to renew car tax there.
