A SOUTHAMPTON business centre has doubled its office space.
The five-storey Ocean Village Innovation Centre (OVIC) has refurbished three floors of offices.
The new space was converted from an open-plan area to 42 new partitioned offices in April, and 15 companies have already moved in.
It took three years to convert the first and second floors into partitioned offices, and their success inspired the ground level, third and fourth floor development.
There are currently 27 businesses based at the centre and more than 100 employees.
OVIC now has 72 offices to provide rooms to hire for conferences, as well space for start-ups, early stage firms and outsourced businesses.
