ALRESFORD county councillor Jackie Porter says she is still waiting for the Hampshire County Council study promised to residents on local traffic issues.
‘Trucked Off’ is campaigning over lorries servicing the watercress packing plants at Old Alresford.
The group has asked the county council to produce an effective traffic management plan.
Cllr Porter, the Lib Dem candidate at the next General Election in May 2015, said: “The group representing over 2,000 residents who signed the ‘Trucked Off’ petition has written to Hampshire and Winchester again, but still we haven’t received a report or any clear answer to this extensive petition.
“There were delays in February due to the wet weather and then there were issues with manpower. Unfortunately, we are now at the end of September and still awaiting a response.
“Not many petitions of this size are delivered to HCC; they have a duty to act.”
