FIREFIGHTERS were called after a blaze broke out in city centre offices.
Crews rushed to Middle Brook Street, Winchester, after a fire was reported in derelict buildings above an Iceland shop.
Hampshire Constabulary said that the fire was started intentionally.
The blaze was extinguished and everyone was reported to be safe following the incident, which happened at about 5.30pm on Monday.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said: "We were called to Middle Brook Street at 5.23pm, with a stop message at 6.29pm.
"It was in county council offices above Iceland on the first floor where there was a small fire.
"We had two pumps from Eastleigh and one from Winchester."
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "This occurred between noon and 6pm on 12 September in Middle Brook Street. No arrests were made."
