Bush Hill’s tough start to life in the top flight of the Hampshire Premier League continued in midweek.
Beaten 3-0 at home by defending champions Baffins Milton last weekend, Bush suffered a copycat loss at AFC Stoneham.
Martin Rogers fired Stoneham ahead after just six minutes, with Tom King and Callum Pragnell netting in the second half to take the hosts to the top of the embryonic table.
Stoneham are ahead of Baffins Milton on goal difference, after the champions’ 3-1 home win over last season’s runners-up Locks Heath.
Jason Parish scored twice in the last 20 minutes after Shane Cornish had opened the scoring in the first period.
