GARNER STAN On Thursday 24th July 2014, peacefully in his sleep at Challoner House Care Home, Chandler’s Ford, aged 90 years. Devoted Husband of the late Joyce, dependable Dad to Barbara, Peter and Ken, and beloved Grandad of Jenny, Clare, Katherine and Hanna. Formerly of IBM Hursley, EMI Labs Hayes, and RNVR (Fleet Air Arm). ---------- Cursory Rhyme by Stan Garner. Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Whatever they did when they were there, it took an hour and a quarter. ---------- Funeral Service at Wessex Vale Crematorium on Thursday 7th August at 11.30 a.m. No black clothes, please come as you are. No flowers please, but donations if desired for the RNLI or Alzheimer’s Society may be sent to Paul Capper Funeral Directors, Janet House, 95 Leigh Road, Eastleigh, SO50 9DR
