A SURVEY has revealed that an increasing number of workers in Southampton are going to work when sick.

The Fisherman’s Friends annual British Cold and Flu Survey revealed that more than half of the workers they asked in Southampton said that they did not take a day off work due to a cold or flu last year.

It also revealed that one in seven Southampton workers said that concerns about job security had been the reason why they went to work despite being sick.
