A FORMER commercial laundry in Southampton is expected to be awash with bidders when it goes before auction with a guide price of £250-300,000.
The freehold site, on a quarter-acre plot and to the rear of 1-2 The Broadway, Portswood, is among 22 lots being sold by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson next month.
Rob Marchant, auctioneer and a familiar figure on BBC’s Homes Under the Hammer, said: “It will be a good chance for a bubbly bidder to clean up on a lot of property.”
Dating back to the 1930s, the premises was also used as a motor garage for repairs.
Starting at 11am, the sale takes place at The Ageas Bowl, West End, on Friday, November 4.
