Drivers strike over pay
LORRY drivers for Southampton’s Roadways Container Logistics are today staging pickets in a protest over pay.
Around 40 drivers for the firm are understood to be striking over plans for what they said “amounted to a 9 per cent pay cut”.
One driver, who did not want to be named, said: “The mood at the moment is pretty fed-up. This is long term.”
