TRANSPORT planner JMP has been hired by Hampshire County Council to run its £13m free bus travel scheme for over-60s involving 40 bus operators.
JMP will take over the administration of the concessionary fares scheme for the elderly and disabled from April, handling both advice and fare reimbursement to operators.
A meeting with operators is being arranged for mid-February.
JMP also has contracts with Gloucestershire, Worcestershire Herefordshire and Brighton and Hove councils.
