MOTORISTS are still facing long delays on the journey home tonight following incidents earlier in the day.
Four vehicles were shunted, a lorry broke down and debris had to be cleared from the road on the M27 by junction three at between 10.45am and 11.45am.
A Highways Agency spokesman said: "Delays were called by the cumulative effect of these three incidents."
Despite saying earlier that they expected the road to return to normal early in the afternoon, commuters are still suffering long delays.
The latest update from the Highways Agency suggests the problems will persist until the early evening.
