YOUNGSTERS taking part in a show to celebrate the 120-year history of the Daily Echo are now rehearsing in their spectacular new costumes.

The cast of Headliners take to the stage at Theatre Royal Winchester on July 29 in a celebratory event sponsored by Silks Hotels, which owns the White Horse in Romsey.

Talented performers aged between seven and 18 from dance company 2Groove are currently gearing up for the show, which spans 120 years of song and dance styles.

Routines showcasing the best of the roaring 20s, through the swing and jitterbug of the 40s, the rock and rolling 50s and into the new millennium with hip hop will all be included.

Tickets for the 2.30pm matinee and 7.30pm evening show cost £8 for adults and £6 for concessions.
