ST PAUL’S Cathedral was the venue when Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer wed on July 29, 1981.
The event was billed as a “fairytale wedding” and the “wedding of the century”.
It was watched on television by an estimated audience of 750 million people, and street parties were staged across the Commonwealth.
Hampshire had its fair share of shindigs – as these pictures prove.
