• THE Victoria and Albert Museum presents David Bowie Is Happening Now, a nationwide cinema event screened live as the finale to the Museum’s enormously successful exhibition.

This unique event was billed as your last opportunity to experience the V&A’s exhibition in the UK before it goes on international tour when it was screened to thousands of cinemas on Tuesday.

But Southampton’s Harbour Lights is giving it an encore, on Sunday at 6.30pm.

David Bowie Is Happening Now will be introduced by exhibition curators, Victoria Broackes and Geoffrey Marsh, and will feature special guests offering an insight into the stories behind some of the 300 objects from the David Bowie archive, many of which have never before been displayed in public.

  •  THIS year marks the centenary of Benjamin Britten, who was born on November 22 – the feast day of Saint Cecilia, patron saint of music. His powerfully dramatic Billy Budd returns to Glyndebourne, with Jacques Imbrailo in the title role, and can be seen again on screen at Winchester’s Everyman Cinema on Monday at 12.35pm.
