THE latest Coen Brothers flick, Inside Llewyn Davies follows a week in the life of a young folk singer as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene in 1961.
To celebrate the film’s release, Harbour Lights Picturehouse will be hosting two folk nights in the bar area on Friday and Saturday from 5pm onwards.
Listen to the brilliant music from local artists such as Jimmy Broomfield, Max Williams, The Real Raj and Eyes Like The Sky, then enjoy Inside Llewyn Davis.
Brimming with music performed by Oscar Isaac, Justin Timberlake and Carey Mulligan, it also has a a fantastic soundtrack featuring Marcus Mumford, Punch Brothers, Bob Dylan and Dave Van Ronk.
Inside Llewyn Davies represents the Coen Brothers’ fourth collaboration with Oscar and Grammy Awardwinning music producer T Bone Burnett.
