SOUTHAMPTON'S feast of the 80s drew thousands of music-lovers to the Common.

Neon clad revellers gathered for Let's Rock Southampton and got in the spirit in the summer sunshine.

A Pamela Anderson lookalike stag could be seen leading a whole pack of his Baywatch style lifeguard mates in a Grease singalong at the one-day festival.

Ghostbusters were patrolling the field, Subbuteo players were in full kit and there were even a few superheroes and Star Wars characters at the 80s revival festival.

They were entertained by 2 Tone ska revival band The Selecter in a change to the advertised line up.

Doctor and the Medics, Toyah and Bucks Fizz followed the earlier acts before the 80s big guns including current chart-topper Rick Astley.

Organisers expected about 9,000 party-goers for the third annual event.
