Capcom's upcoming and massively anticipated open-world role-playing game, Dragon's Dogma, is soon to get a demo. Xbox 360 users in the UK will be able to experience a slice of the monster hunting pie from April 24, whilst PlayStation 3 gamers will be treated the following day, Wednesday April 25.
Capcom are not just giving us a little nibble, but they're spoiling us with a complete buffet of action. With your party of three Pawns, the demo includes two different character classes in two challenging encounters.
The Strider uses bows and daggers, requiring the player to think fast in order to take down the mighty Griffin in the open plains surrounding the capital of Gransys.
Adventure through underground tunnels and chambers as the Fighter, a melee specialist and a master of both attacks and counterattacks. Take on the Chimera in this prologue quest set before the events of the main game.
The in-depth character creation to is also included, and the functionality to take your character into the main game means any work done in the demo isn't completely wasted.
For us European gamers, Dragon's Dogma is due May 25 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Pre-orders are already available through most video-game retailers.
