NEVILLE STAPLE

NEVILLE Staple’s thirty-five year career in the music business is well documented. From the early days with The Coventry Automatics, The Specials & FunBoy3 in the late 70s and 80s, to The Special-Beat and various other collaborations during his solo career from the 90s up to the present day.

Following on from the 2009 Specials reunion and his subsequent departure from the band in late 2012, he continues to be a forerunner of the ska movement, thrilling audiences at venues and festival appearances worldwide with his own band of very accomplished musicians.

Expect to hear Neville’s own material and arrangements of his very favourite old school ska numbers, as well as some of the classic hits he is best known for at the Railway in Winchester tonight.

He’s followed by The Soul 45 DJs, spinning the best in 60s soul, Motown, R&B, funk, reggae and ska on 7” vinyl.
