AFTER a four-year hiatus, Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand are back with a blinding fourth studio album.
Famed for their hits of the noughties, their latest work Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, released this summer, is a return to their stadium filling indie.
Critically acclaimed and reaching the Top 10 in the UK album chart, it spawned the lead singles Right Action and Love Illumination.
Expect a rollicking good party when they arrive at 02 Guildhall Southampton in March when the lads will mix new material with classics from the back catalogue like Take Me Out, The Dark of the Matinee and Do You Want To.
The Mercury Prize winning band is Alex Kapranos (lead vocals and guitar), Bob Hardy (bass guitar), Nick McCarthy (rhythm guitar, keyboards and backing vocals) and Paul Thomson (drums, percussion and backing vocals).
Franz Ferdinand are in Southampton on the fourth date of their 2014 tour on March 19.
