HE’S been described as the man with the golden voice.

And the gold crusted tones of international singing star and songwriter Paul Carrack will be filling Eastleigh’s Concorde Club tonight. Paul will arrive direct from an overseas tour as a band member with guitar god Eric Clapton. A journeyman of British rock, soul and pop, the 62 year-old musician’s career has unfolded slowly and steadily until he has become something of a national treasure.

For over 30 of those years, The Bootleg Beatles, who return to 02 Guildhall Southampton on Tuesday have been performing these ‘classic’ pop songs to audiences across the globe, winning over even the most hardened sceptics.

VARIETY RELIEF

ENJOY song, dance, music and comedy from some of the south’s most talented performers as they raise the roof for Wave 105’s Cash For Kids appeal with Variety Relief at 02 Guildhall Southampton tomorrow.

Thirteen outstanding acts will take to the stage, including Britain’s Got Talent 2012 finalist Kai Widdrington, compere Mark Ponsford and R&B singer Liam White. Eccentric comedian Arnold Gutbucket joins the bill as well as vocalists Eliza and Paul Rogers.
