Hailed as one of 2015’s ones to watch, The Carnabys are back and gearing up to travel across the UK as part of Huw Stephens’ (of Radio 1) Coffee House Sessions.

They will perform at The Bridge, Southampton University today at 2pm.

Other appearances that day include The Loft at Bournemouth University at 12.15pm and Terrace Bar, Winchester, at 4pm.

Following their sold-out headline show at iconic London venue The Garage, The Carnabys are also releasing their new single, Where I’d Rather Be.

The Coffee House Sessions will take the London band to a variety of intimate venues in student towns across the UK.

A whirlwind tour, starting at the University of Bournemouth and 21 shows later they’ll end at Scotland’s University of St Andrews on March 27.

Where I’d Rather Be is an aggressively raucous single, taken from The Carnabys’ debut album, No Money on the Moon.

Rock simplicity at its best, Where I’d Rather Be is full of boisterous energy and old-school rock ’n’ roll.
