AN AWARD-winning bluesrock musician will be coming to Hampshire to perform with his band next month.

Rising star Laurence Jones will be heading to Winchester’s The Railway Inn on Thursday, September 17 for what organisers promise “will be a great night and one show not to miss”.

Well before the release of his debut album Thunder In The Sky in 2012, a buzz rapidly built around Laurence and he soon began making a big name for himself.

Influenced by the likes of Walter Trout, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher and Albert Collins, at only 23 the young gunslinger of the blues has clocked up many road miles of touring.

In April, Laurence released his third album What’s It Gonna Be with Ruf Records, featuring guests Sandi Thom and Dana Fuchs.

To see Laurence with his band perform with guests at St. Pauls Hill, tickets (£11 advance, £13 on the door) can be purchased by calling 01472 349 222 or via www.solidentertainments.com
